Is it Jail Time for Paris Hilton?
Los Angeles city prosecutors want Paris Hilton to be sentenced to 45 days in county jail for violating probation. A Hilton in the Gray Bar Inn? Oh, please, let it be so!
According to court papers filed Monday by the L.A. City Attorney’s Office, Hilton not only knowingly drove with a suspended license (moron), but also failed to enroll in an alcohol education program. But, to give her the benefit of the doubt, she probably figured there was nothing anyone could teach her about booze. And she never was much of a student, so…
“These violations demonstrate Hilton’s disregard for the vehicle laws of this state, and the conditions of her probation.”
Yeah, see, right there: I don’t think Paris thinks the laws of the state apply to her, so I can understand the confusion. Regardless, Hilton maintains that she knew nothing about having a suspended license, as her rep, Elliot Mintz, told the press:
“When Paris called me, she asked if her license was suspended. If that’s the case, she and I are unaware of it.”
How could she not know? I’m sure she received written not…oh, wait, there you have it. Paris doesn’t do something so pedestrian as read! She pays people to do that for her.
Regardless, Hilton is required to appear in court on Friday to answer the charges. I hope she’s got appropriate “I’m goin’ to court”-crotch flashin’ attire for the event. A real heiress would never be caught without an outfit for every possible occasion.
