Poor Tom Cruise! He finally takes the shackles off his future ex-wife and lets her out of the basement and back onto a movie set and what happens? The faithless tramp starts flirting with her co-star. No, not Queen Latifah–one of her male co-stars. She’ll probably have to do extra penance with the old e-meter after this.

Reports from the set of the bomb-in-the-making “Mad Money,” have Katie flirting with Adam Rothenberg (well, my god, it’s Adam Rothenberg, people! You’d flirt, too…) after script takes and even putting more into their romantic scenes than is called for.

“They shot a scene in which Adam wrapped his arms around Katie’s waist, then the two of them had an intimate discussion,” a “set insider” told L&S (Life & Style). “They lingered after the director said ‘cut,’ and it got everyone talking.”

Maverick’s rep insists all is well for the Creepy Cruises and that Tommy “is very confident in his relationship with Katie and supportive of her time working on the set.” Well, of course he’s confident–he has a signed, ironclad, billion-year contract trusts his wife.

Of course, if you look at the photos, the future ex-missus looks more like she’s trying to get away from Rothenberg, but that could just be because it’s been so long since she had a man’s another man’s arms around him…
