Lynne Spears, who a family friend described as heartbroken on Friday, is now hopeful that everything will be ok in regard to her fractured relationship with Britney. I guess you can be both–sounds a little schizophrenic, but when your daughter is a total lunatic it could be the only way to cope.

“Everything is going to be fine…I’ve got a strong family, and everything is going to be fine.”

Except for the part where your rehabbed daughter–who claims she didn’t really need rehab and was bullied into it my her ex-manager and momma–wants you to stay away from your grandchildren. Otherwise, everything’s peachy. Lynne’s even hoping that Brit-Brit will make it to a family barbeque in Louisiana for 4th of July. Keep hope alive, lady.

Britney, for her part, is going about her usual routine: partying at Les Deux on Friday with girlfriends, where she was “subdued” (code for wasted? Just askin’) but bopping to the music. Obviously heartbroken, too.
