Tom Cruise is allegedly going to create a production company to produce movies for his future ex-wife because she doesn’t like the movie roles she’s currently being offered. Which I could see as being true, since I guess no parts would be very unsatisfying. Says a source:

“Kate is a little disillusioned with acting at the moment, especially as she’s taken to being a mother so wholeheartedly.”

If she’s so taken with motherhood how come we so rarely see her with the little dividend moppet? Other than their photo op vacation last month, we’ve seen Katie at fashion shows and shopping and generally zoning out all around the globe, but playing the part of “Mommy?” Not so much.

“She’s not interested by many of the roles she is being offered so Tom has stepped in with some ideas of his own.”

Quelle surprise! Maverick putting his two cents in–who would’ve thought? And about those ideas:

“He has one project he wants both of them to star in and another he will produce with Katie in the lead.”

Wow, which one sounds like more of a disaster? The first has “Gigli” written all over it and the second? Well, seeing as The Vapid One’s only lead vehicles–”First Daughter” and “Abandon”–have tanked both critically and financially? Yeah, brilliant!

Not that this will be an issue once Katie announces she’s pregnant again–since she wants the bonus that comes with that loves motherhood so much. I’m sure the clock is ticking on that announcement.
