Despite the giant “Welcome to L.A.” party thrown in her honor a couple weeks ago, it doesn’t seem like Posh Spice is making fast friends in celebrity circles. Apparently, the management at Chateau Marmont doesn’t much care for Vickie’s need for attention of the paparazzi kind:

“She always lets the paparazzi know when she’ll be arriving. The Chateau Marmont tries to give celebs their privacy, and they hate her there. They like David [Beckham, her husband], though.”

That’s because Becks isn’t an unmitigated famewhore in search of the next photo op and actually has a discernible talent, unlike the Mrs. But even funnier than the hotel staff not digging on Posh is that Britney Spears doesn’t appear to like her, either.

Last Tuesday, Brit Brit arrived at the Chateau and there was only one table available–right next to Posh. The Cheetos Princess didn’t want to sit next to her and “stormed off to Il Sole instead.” Which, on the one hand, wouldn’t offend me much because who wants to sit next to Britney Spears. But, on the other hand, when EVEN Britney Spears, who isn’t exactly discriminating in the company she keeps, doesn’t want to be near you? That can’t be good.
