Jennifer Hudson Up For “Sex” Role
Sources say Oscar-winning “Dreamgirls” actress Jennifer Hudson isthisclose to signing on for a part in the upcoming “Sex and the City” film.
According to E! Online, the former “American Idol” contestant is expected to play an assistant to writer Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker. Hudson’s rep has confirmed, saying she’s “very excited.”
Parker and her TV co-stars Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have all signed on to reprise their roles for the big-screen.
