Ok, probably not, but still–when the two-time sexiest man alive is in a motorcycle accident, these things must be mused. And it happened in New Jersey, for god’s sake! As if my home state needs another mark against it.

So here’s what we know: George and his new girlfriend, ex-cocktail waitress Sarah Larson (how does that happen…and, more importantly, why can’t it happen to me?), were riding on his Harley in Weehawken on Friday when they were hit by a car. Clooney sustained a hairline rib fracture and road rash and Larson broke her foot. They were treated at a North Bergen hospital and released.

Here’s what remains in question: George says the car sped up and tried to pass him before making a right-hand turn; the car’s driver says it was George trying to do the passing. The crash remains under investigation.

It was probably Clooney’s fault. He most likely was trying to get the hell out of Weehawken. And before anyone from Weehawken gets pissed at me, let me just say: I’ve been there–I know.
