For awhile there, every time you saw Michelle Williams she had a scowl on her face, like it was such a chore having to actually look cheerful. Maybe though it’s because her relationship with Heath Ledger was falling apart–who knows? All I know is at least she didn’t look like someone pissed in her cornflakes last night at the “I’m Not There” premiere in NYC. Nice change of pace.

It also looks like she’s growing out her pixie cut–which, I confess, I thought was very cute and suited her. This? Meh, looks like she’s, well, growing out a pixie cut It’s at that awkward in-between stage. But, again, at least she’s smiling. That’s an improvement right there.
