Rimmel Plans To Keep Kate Moss
Rimmel cosmetics has denied rumors that the company is planning to drop Kate Moss, who has been the face for the company since 2001 and is featured in all of Rimmel’s high profile ad campaigns.
Recently, reports have speculated that Moss, who is 34, was on her way out and would be replaced by a younger model – names thrown around have been Gemma Arterton and British television’s Alexa Chung – but the company says it has no plans to replace Moss, insisting the supermodel will continue to front the line.
Emmanuelle Bonte, who is the spokeswoman for the brand, said:
“Kate remains the face of Rimmel London and will continue to appear in campaigns for the foreseeable future. Rimmel London has no plans to replace Kate. We are very happy with the collaboration.”
I hope Kate doesn’t leave Rimmel for some time – I can’t yet imagine the company without her.
