John Mayer vs. Taylor Swift: “I was humiliated”
Big, big jujubes. John Mayer interview with Rolling Stone, failed to retain their resentment toward the former Taylor Swift. Blame Dear John, lyrics inserted in the third disc of the blonde singer, Speak Now, released in 2010. The title is of course John himself, the 34 year old singer and guitarist.
I was taken aback. I was humiliated at a time when I had already been given another dressing down. How would you feel if, after reaching the bottom, someone pushed further down? Now I’m good to take my responsibilities and I have never done anything to deserve this. He did something really bad.
The text of the offending song is a clear accusation against colleague. Taylor sings:
Dear John,
Now I understand everything,
It was a mistake
You do not think I was too young to trick me with your tricks,
When I will love you so much?
John Mayer has no choice. It may be said to be humiliated as he wants, but nobody ever take his part. Who would have the courage to contradict the sentiments of a girl with golden hair and eyes of an angel?
