Milla Jovovich: “I want to learn how to make bread”

Milla JovovichMilla Jovovich talks to MySelf in August, on newsstands tomorrow, July 31. Let’s see what he said:

I want to go to Paris and have time to visit a museum. I want to do things that can be an inspiration for my daughter ever and eventually enroll in a cooking class to learn how to make bread, yes.

It seems so free a woman, even a little ‘outside the box. Is that right?

Career in doubt, perhaps less in life, especially since I am a mother and responsibilities. Been working since I was 16, I traveled a lot, have been in hundreds of places around the world, but if I were to say that I have seen something or that I remember where I found it lying. And now I made a pact with myself: I want to start traveling with my daughter Ever and solely for pleasure, for pleasure.

Motherhood makes you happy?

My daughter has really changed my life. It was she who taught me that there can only be the work. With Ever I learned to slow down, enjoy the fruit of all the trouble I have in the past. It was time.

Learning to enjoy the fruits of his labor is one thing you learn with age?

Yes, and you also understand the importance of giving value to the time: a young man I ran so much! The risk for me is to reach 50 years and then ask: yes, but what I did in real life? Sure, there are the covers of magazines, fashion photographs, but those alone are not sufficient to give full meaning to existence.

How do you feel close to 40 years?

It’s life. I started to work so early that I think I had a childhood much longer than that of normal people. I can not complain, in fact. And now age 40 is not so dramatic, there are still very attractive women and the canons of beauty have changed themselves. Of course, living in Los Angeles does not help: there is the triumph of plastic surgery.

It does not seem the type to surgeon. Am I wrong?

Never say never. Who knows how I will be in 60 years? I know now when I look in the mirror, they are happy with what I see: if I went to a surgeon today, I’d be more worried about how I came out worse. And then, I’d feel ungrateful to even touch me: this face has allowed me to have everything I had, gave me so much, why should I change it?
