Angelina Jolie says her children to Malala, the injured girl by the Taliban
Angelina Jolie has taken to heart the story of Malala Yousafzai, a 14 year old Pakistani seriously injured as a result of a real matrix Taliban attack. On Tuesday, a group of masked gunmen stopped a bus full of schoolchildren in Pakistan. Once you have identified Malala, the terrorists was shot in the head and neck. The only fault of the girl was to have repeatedly voted in favor of women’s education.
In an article in the Daily Beast, the Oscar-winning actress has explained his decision to tell this cowardly attack her children.
I felt compelled to share the story of Malala with my children. To them, it was difficult to understand a world in which men try to kill a little girl whose only “crime” was the wish that she and others like her to go to school.
The story must have impressed the children of Angie and Brad . I wanted to know more and, assisted by the famous mother, were informed about the life of this brave Pakistani teenager.
We learned a lot about Malala together, we watched her interviews and read his diaries. He was only 11 years old when he began his business blogger for the BBC. He told of life under the Taliban, how she had to swap her school uniform with her normal clothes, how she had to hide the books under her shawl, and how in the end he was forced to give up going to school.
Jolie’s article continues with an account of the great demonstration of solidarity with the people of Pakistan fielded in the days following the shooting. And the children who ask why men feel the need to kill a little girl, the actress replied: “Because education is a very powerful thing.”
Despite his injuries, Malala survive. For her, it began the long road of rehabilitation after the interventions that have allowed us to save her life. The credit is primarily the timely transfer from Pakistan to a hospital in Birmingham, UK, where Malala try to regain their strength with the help of a highly qualified staff. Watched his courage and tenacity, we are sure that will do it. We are all with you.
