Madonna during the concert: “Vote Obama.” And the audience whistles
The new tour Madonna moved in native United States, but the unexpected during the show there have been like in the rest of the world. During the concert on Saturday night in New Orleans, the pop star gave a clear indication to vote in the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
I do not care for those who vote, as long as you vote for Obama
Leaving aside the absurdity of the statement, an artist like you, who for years have fought for the rights of women and homosexuals, certainly could not siding with the Republican candidate Mitt Romney. The sympathy of Mrs. Ciccone should not take anyone by surprise, yet some of the audience (a minority) did not like the words of the pop-star and have disputes with the only weapon available to the voice.
Incredulous, Lady then asked those present:
They’re whistling?
It should not be easy for a multi-billion dollar being contradicted their workplace. Yet it happened. Preferring to avoid further disputes, Madonna stated:
I do not care for those who voted. Do not assume that right. Go and vote.
Watched the latest misadventures of which were the star, Madonna this time it went well. In Paris, just a few months ago, the situation had deteriorated in a heartbeat. Better get to sing Material Girl for the millionth time rather than granting a space of expression to the crowd.
