Harry Styles wants a girl who is “driven” and “ambitious” in their career.

Harry Styles is looking for an “ambitious” girl.

The 18-year-old singer – who stars in One Direction alongside Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik – is best known for dating older women including 32-year-old Caroline Flack and Lucy Horobin, also 32, but admits he would be happy with a woman of any age as long as they were “driven”.

He said: “I find ambition really attractive – if someone’s good at something they love doing. I want someone who is driven.”

His bandmate Louis also reveals his secret to his successful relationship with student girlfriend Eleanor Calder, and believes trust is pivotal to their often long-distance link.

He told Cosmopolitan magazine: “We trust each other – I spend a lot of time out of the country on tour. But she often flies out.

“I think the key to a good relationship is being best friends. I spend more time with her and the band than I do with anyone else. She’s really great.”
