Taylor Swift doesn’t want to get married soon and plans to make the most of her 20s despite dating a string of famous men including her current boyfriend Harry Styles

Taylor Swift doesn’t want to marry young.

The 22-year-old star – who has had flings with Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and recently admitted she is addicted to dating dangerous men – has brushed off reports that she is eager to settle down as soon as possible.

The ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ singer told Parade magazine: “People think I want to get married really young – I don’t know why. I’m a romantic person, but that doesn’t mean I want to miss out on being in my young 20s.”

Taylor – who is currently dating One Direction star Harry Styles – previously revealed she loves dating bad boys because it is more exciting.

She said: “There’s a really interesting charisma involved. They usually have a lot to say, and even if they don’t, they know how to look at you to say it all. I think every girl’s dream is to find a bad boy at the right time, when he wants to not be bad any more.”

Despite her many Hollywood suitors, the blonde star also isn’t sure she’s ever been in love properly and she hopes the man she falls for completely will be her future husband.

Taylor said: “I tend to think things are love and then look back and re-evaluate. I know how many people I’ve said ‘I love you’ to. I could probably count it up, but I don’t feel like it. Part of me feels you can’t say you were truly in love if it didn’t last. If I end up getting married and having kids, that’s when I’ll know it’s real – because it lasted.”
