While the 28-year-old ‘Firework’ singer recently reconciled with the 35-year-old singer/songwriter after splitting for the second time in March, they have reportedly decided they are not ready to commit to each other.

A source told E! News: “They are just hanging out. They are not putting a label on it.”

Following their latest split, Katy was said to be releasing her “anger” over the failed romance by going spinning and soothing her brain” at Los Angeles’ candlelit Soul Sanctuary spa.

A source said: “Katy believes the workouts have really helped her with releasing anger, stress and tension from the split and the sanctuary has been soothing her brain.

“A few years ago she would have released the energy by hitting the clubs and dancing the night away. But she’s getting older now and wants to do things healthily.”

A close pal previously predicted that the on/off couple might reunite following their latest split.

The 28-year-old ‘Wide Awake’ singer took her first trip to Madagascar in support of UNICEF this week to help draw attention to the importance of providing education and help to children on the African island, which is one of the poorest countries in the world.

An insider told HollywoodLife.com: “Rihanna doesn’t have a problem with anyone and could give a f**k about what anybody thinks about her relationship. She was focused on her and Chris and enjoying her night.”

The ‘Part of Me’ singer was previously said to be barely speaking to Rihanna because she thinks she is “making a huge mistake” by getting back together with Chris.

She told OK! Magazine after being crowned woman of the year at the Billboard Women in Music Awards luncheon on Friday (30.11.12): “Um, I don’t care because I’m ok with myself. I think every woman does stuff like that anyways, all the time. I think one of my favourite moments is seeing like a hot girl dancing in a club, and then accidentally seeing her Spanx.

“People don’t want to look up – they want to look across at someone. They want to feel like ‘hey, that’s my girl. I relate to your song. Maybe I felt something like that, but I didn’t have the words to capture that moment like the Katy Perry song.’”

The ‘Firework’ singer and the renowned womaniser – who have been dating for four months – want to take the next step in their relationship and have been house-hunting in Los Angeles and aim to find a place before Christmas.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “John and Katy have decided to give it a proper go and want to find a place in LA to share.

“But lots of people are willing them to fail. They row a bit and have quite a turbulent up-and-down relationship, despite it only being a few months old.

“Many of her friends are certain it will all end in tears.

“But that’s brought them closer in a way. It’s given them an ‘us against the world’ mentality.”

Sources say the couple – who had a brief split in October before getting back together – are smitten with each other and like to spend every moment they can together.

One said: “They are together virtually every day.

“They hang out at John’s place, cooking, watching movies and playing music.

“They take the odd trip away but generally they’re trying to keep it behind closed doors.”

Katy – whose 14-month marriage to Russell Brand ended last December – has already introduced John to her parents as she knows the romance is serious.
