Victoria Beckham loves arts and crafts sessions with her daughter.

The 37-year-old fashion designer recently moved back to London with husband David and their children, Brooklyn,13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and 19-month-old Harper, and during her time off she loves nothing more than buying new stationery and taking her youngest child to family private members’ club Purple Dragon for some creative play.

Asked what her secret pleasures are in the city, she said: “Potato printing at the Purple Dragon with Harper and stocking up with stationery at Mount Street Stationers.”

Victoria is enjoying living back in the UK for the first time since 2003 because it is so convenient – and also because her popularity has increased over the last decade.

She told the Daily Telegraph website: “I love being near my family and so close to the design studio. And there’s always the opportunity to wear a fabulous coat.

“What’s changed most? People like me now.”

However, after years living in Spain and Los Angeles with her soccer star spouse – who recently signed a five-month contract with French side Paris Saint Germain – and their family, Victoria wishes the weather was better in London.

Asked what she would change about the city, she said: “The lack of sunlight.”

The fashion designers – three of the fashion world’s biggest names – will join Tim Blanks, and Franca and Carla Sozanni for the global fashion competition, which celebrates the best new design talents and looks set to be one of the highlights of London Fashion Week.

The panel will award the best Merino wool designer in the world with the International Woolmark Prize, a competition that launched the careers of Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent in the 1950s.

Regional awards have been taking place globally for the past year and have narrowed the shortlist down to six entrants representing Europe, USA, China, Australia, Japan and India. The finalists are: Sophie Theallet from the US, Christian Wijnants from Belgium (for Europe), Ban Xiao Xiu from China, Dion Lee from Australia, DRESSEDUNDRESSED from Japan and Pankaj and Nidhi from India.

The prize includes a $100,000 AUD sponsorship and the winner’s Merino wool collection merchandised in the world’s most important retailers including Harvey Nichols in the UK, Bergdorf Goodman in the USA, 10 Corso Como in Italy, Joyce in China, David Jones in Australia and Eickohoff Konigsallee in Germany.

The glamorous event takes place at London’s exclusive ME Hotel.

Although the former Spice Girls singer-turned-fashion designer and her soccer player husband may have millions in the bank and have been hugely successful in their respective fields, Victoria admits she suffers from low self-esteem and doubts her abilities.

The 38-year-old star – who was joined in the Spice Girls by Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mel C – wanted to do well in the fashion industry to prove she could make it on her own.

In an interview in the new issue of Britain’s ELLE magazine, she said: “When I was on stage with the Spice Girls, I thought people were there to see the other four and not me. And when I go out with David and people take pictures, I think, ‘They’re here to take David’s picture.’

“It was never my intention to prove anybody wrong. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I don’t have to work, I need to work.”

The 38-year-old designer also says nothing has ever been handed to her in her life and she has had to work hard for everything she has achieved in the music and fashion industries.

Victoria is determined to instil the same work ethic that she and David, 37 have in their four children – Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 18-month-old Harper.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Kim loves Victoria’s VB range to complement her curves. Now with a burgeoning bump on the way, she is following her style closely.

“Kim spent hours with her mum, Kris Jenner, and her glam squad going through pictures of what Victoria wore during all her pregnancies.

“She wants to look classy and not frumpy while carrying her child.”

This is not the first wardrobe overhaul the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has undertaken in recent months.

Shortly after she began dating Kanye, 35, she allowed him to go through her closet and get rid of some of her clothes, as well as introducing her to his stylist, and she recently claimed he has made her more sophisticated as a result.

She said: “I’ve grown up a lot this year. My style’s more sophisticated. And that’s from my boyfriend, who’s a designer, to just having my personality evolve.

“I think all boyfriends and girlfriends give each other tips and ask, ‘Do you like this? Does it look good?’

“It wasn’t like he came in and said, ‘Oh my God, let me give you this makeover.’ I wanted a new stylist and he suggested his.

“I would overdo it before. I’d wear a short skirt with my boobs out, necklace, earrings, rings, bracelets and high platforms.

David and Victoria Beckham have enrolled their children in an English school.

The couple are now househunting in London after finding a £15,000-a-year establishment in the UK capital for sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, seven, and will make the move from Los Angeles in the summer.

David and Victoria are also believed to have found a nursery suitable for their 17-month-old daughter Harper.

A source close to the couple told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “For David and Victoria, the children come first. They have spent months researching schools and after visiting a few earlier this month, have found one they agree on.

“It’s an independent school and will not be fazed by having celebrity children on its books. Both David and Victoria’s families are all delighted too as a return to London means they will see so much more of the children.”

The move comes after David, 37, announced his intention to leave his current soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy.

However, despite opting to be based in London with his fashion designer wife, the hunky sportsman may look further afield for his new club, with him believed to favour a move to play for French side Paris Saint-Germain.

He is also weighing up options to play in Brazil or China on a lucrative contract.

Victoria Beckham sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge flowers to congratulate them on the news they are expecting their first baby together.

The fashion designer – who has four children, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 17-month-old Harper, with husband David – was thrilled when she heard Duchess Catherine was pregnant and wanted to let her know she was thinking of her when she was in hospital with acute morning sickness.

A source said: “Victoria sent flowers and a card to congratulate William and Kate.

“Victoria really understands morning sickness and has suffered terribly from it herself during all her pregnancies. Victoria actually lose weight in the first trimesters and couldn’t keep her food down, so she really felt for Kate, as she knew a little of what she was going through.”

Victoria – who, along with David, attended William and Catherine’s wedding last April – is also keen to give the unborn future king or queen some clothes to wear as she is set to have her create her own children’s clothing range.

The source added to heat magazine: “Victoria is actually looking into starting her own range of children’s clothes and would love for William and Kate’s child to be the first in line to wear them.”

The Spice Girls singer has been spotted viewing luxury properties in the UK, just five days after her Los Angeles Galaxy star husband David announced he was leaving his American football team.

The 38-year-old fashion designer – who has children Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, seven-year-old Cruz, and 16-month-old daughter Harper with David – was chauffeured in between four different South London mansions in a silver Range Rover.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Wherever [David] ends up, a house in the capital is a perfect investment. It means Victoria can be close to her blossoming fashion business. And the schools are among the best in the world.”

The viewings included a four-storey 17th century house worth £9 million and a renovated £6 million pad near TV chef Gordon Ramsay’s family home.

Victoria also visited a lavish Grade II listed building near the Thames, which is on the market for £18 million and features seven bedrooms, a wine cellar and gym.

However, the stylish star is said to have been completely won over by the fourth property, a £10 million mansion which was rented out by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie last year.

The source added: “She fell in love with it straight away. It was the most secluded out of all of them.”

Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly planning to move to New York City.

The couple are currently settled in Los Angeles with their children – Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, seven-year-old Cruz, and 15-month-old daughter Harper – but are considering relocating to the Big Apple so Victoria can concentrate on her fashion line.

A source told Grazia magazine: “Everything is up for discussion at the moment. David may well choose to stay at his team LA Galaxy, or he may leave and retire from football. There are big conversations to be had.

“Victoria is keen to move to New York to set up her business there and open her first store. She looked at a school while she was there. There are also business opportunities for David, too.”

Victoria and David are also considering a move to London, but worry that uprooting their children across the Atlantic might be too dramatic and would spell the end of David’s soccer career.

The source said: “London would suit Victoria because that is where her design studio is and, as a family, they love the energy there. But it would be a big move and lifestyle change for the children and David and Victoria aren’t sure they’re ready to make that sacrifice.

“Ultimately, David has to decide what he wants for his future and how that affects his family.”

Victoria Beckham is reportedly keen to move back to the UK so she can spend more time with her family.

The fashion designer currently resides in Los Angeles with soccer star husband David and their four children – Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 15-month-old Harper – but the couple are said to be considering moving back home as they want to be closer to their parents and siblings.

A source said: “Victoria feels that her kids are missing out by not having her and David’s extended families around them, especially as they get older, and would love for them to be able to spend more time together.”

The couple are already said to have been looking at schools for the children as well as searching for homes that are close to London but have lots of privacy.

The source added to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “Proximity to great schools is the number one priority. They have already made provisional enquiries at the top London academies, such as Haberdashers’ Aske’s. They still own Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire, but may well opt for something a bit closer to London, given that Victoria will have to commute most days.

“Privacy is their other big concern. They are pretty much left alone in LA, and wouldn’t want their family to move back if they were going to be harassed 24/7, so the property search will focus on secluded homes with excellent security.”

The 29-year-old singer- who opens up about her friendship with the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer during the 2006 World Cup in her new autobiography ‘Cheryl: My Story’ – said Victoria refuses to let the pressures of fame get to her and isn’t bothered by criticism of her super skinny figure.

When Cheryl asked the mum-of-four about how she deals with all the attention surrounding her famous family, she claims the 37-year-old told her: “How do I cope? I cope because I have to, because it’s the way my life is. I’m hardened to it. I know how I’m perceived is not how I am, and that’s what matters.”

Cheryl – who once dismissed Victoria’s clothing line as being for “old people” but has since embraced her critically acclaimed range – also reveals that she asked Victoria about her weight and the fashion icon told her it was nobody’s business except her own.

The ‘Fight For This Love’ singer said Victoria replied: “When they say, I’m too thin, I just think: ‘You know what? I’m happy to be thin. I’m into fashion and I like being able to wear whatever I like. It’s my business, and if other people don’t like it, that’s their business.’”

Cheryl also recalls how Victoria, who is known for her posh pout, used to hold “her handbag up over her mouth” whenever she laughed.

This isn’t the first time Cheryl has spoken about her brief friendship with Victoria.

She told Vogue magazine in 2009 that she was disappointed that Victoria didn’t reach out to her after Ashley’s drunken indiscretion with a hairdresser.

She said: “David’s mum is friends with Ashley’s mum, she (Victoria) was in my hotel room the whole time during the World Cup – we’ve had barbecues together — so I was quite shocked by that.”
